How Your Pet Brand Can Make “Insane” Sales With Sane, Hype-Free Emails
If you want to make more sales in your pet business, but you don't want to bombard your audience with sleazy marketing emails, then you've come to the right place.
Here's why:
I recently chatted with a bunch of pet business owners who only email their list once a month (or less). And they know they could make more sales if they emailed more... but they’re too scared to.
How come?
Because they don't want to risk their audience getting pissed off and unsubscribing from their email list.
And you know what? I don’t blame them at all for this attitude. In fact, I used to agree with them.
That was because, like them, I used to believe that marketing emails should be hype-filled pitchfests. (Since that’s what pretty much everyone else is sending.)
You know the kinda emails I mean:
The ones flooding your inbox with ALL-CAPS subject lines...
... pushing cuh-raaazy "LIMITED TIME OFFERS!!!"...
... and sending you endless discount codes.
Nobody likes getting bombarded by those kinda emails. If you send your audience too many emails like that, it’s true that you'll burn them out and get a bunch of unsubscribers. (Not to mention being banished to the Spam or Promotions folders... but that’s a whole ‘nother story.)
What’s more, nobody likes sending those kinda emails, either. It feels sleazy, like you’re imposing yourself on your audience and asking them to do something they don’t wanna do.
But here's the lemon twist...
After signing up to hundreds of email newsletters, I noticed something surprising about the ones I was actually buying stuff from:
Their emails looked nothing like traditional marketing.
No hype.
No pressure.
No manipulation.
Instead?
They discussed their own adventures and mishaps.
They wrote about funny moments in their day.
They shared stories about difficult clients.
And that's when I discovered that selling with email doesn’t have to feel sleazy at all.
Your marketing emails don’t have to be crazy and over-the-top — they can be sane and hype-free.
They can be entertaining, spark emotion, and connect naturally to what you're selling without being pushy. They can feel like updates from a friend.
And the best part?
When your emails are genuinely fun to read, people actually look forward to receiving them. And they want to hear from you more often.
Which means you're not stuck sending a monthly sales pitch, praying that people don't unsubscribe or send you hatemail. Instead, you'll be able to send fun, money-making emails several times a week (or even daily) without any worries.
And when you can safely go from once-a-month emails to once-a-day…
That’s when you can start making crazy numbers of sales from your email list.
